LONDON – Team Barbados came crashing back to earth, losing the final netball Test 73-32 to England today at the Surrey Sports Park.
After pushing England to the brink with a 53-48 result in Thursday’s second Test, this was not the expected result, especially with the same starting seven of Laurel Browne, Nikita Piggott, Damisha Croney, Samantha Browne, Kizzy Marville, Latonia Blackman and Rhe-Ann Niles on court.
Barbados fell behind 4-0 and never caught up as England closed out that quarter leading 14-7 and had more than doubled the score at 33-15 by half-time. No official shooting statistics were available. Barbados lost the first Test match 71-42 and England wrapped up the series 3-0. (SAT)
