LET ME first congratulate the Jamaica team for achieving five consecutive regional four-day cricket titles.
The Tamar Lambert-led side has achieved a record in Caribbean cricket that must be highly commended and regarded as excellent in an otherwise disappointing tournament.
The time has come where, along with financial benefits of staging tournaments, our focus must be tailored to benefit our Caribbean players and ultimately, the West Indies senior team.
All of our developmental programmess, workshops and tournaments must create an environment and structure in this vein.
The West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) should receive praise for the successful execution of the competition, with legitimate criticisms of fixtures/scheduling being raised in different quarters.
