DEAR CHRISTINE: Last resort – to reach lost friend

Dear Christine,
I hope you can make some space in your column to print my letter.
In February last year I met a really nice guy while at the beach. We struck up a conversation and thereafter we kept in contact on the telephone before going on our first date two weeks later.
He was working as a sales executive for a leading agency at the time. In April last year I went abroad to spend nine months with my relatives.
We stayed in contact but around August, as much as I tried to reach him, I simply could not. I returned home in January, and continued trying to find my friend. He no longer works at the agency and no one there has been able to tell me exactly where I can find him – or maybe they are not willing to say.
He has also moved from his last address.
All I have been told by his former neighbour is that his mum had to return to her native country, but she is not sure if he is still on the island. I am writing to you with the hope that Garcia (that’s his name) would see my letter and get in contact with me. I would like to maintain our friendship, but most of all I’ll like to know that he is well.
You are my last resort in finding him. Thank you, Christine.

Dear Stacia “B”,
I have printed your letter as requested and hope that you find your “lost friend”.  I wish you success in doing so.
– CHRISTINE
