Minister of Education Ronald Jones is one of four administrators nominated for the vacant post of president of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU).
Jones, who is also president of the Barbados Football Association (BFA), was nominated by Bermuda.
He will come up against Harold Taylor of Trinidad, Antigua’s Gordon Derrick and Luis Hernandez of Cuba.
The election will be held on May 22 at the CFU ordinary congress in Budapest, Hungary.
BFA council member Hally Haynes has also been nominated to serve on the CFU’s Ethics Committee. (PR/SAT)
