DEAR CHRISTINE: Girls, beware of tricky twins

Dear Christine,
I am writing to share with you and readers how I have been deceived by twin brothers. I am doing so with the hope that other young girls would not be tricked like I was.
Christine, I met this guy eight months ago while at a sporting event. We struck up a conversation and I really enjoyed the fact that I could carry on an intelligent conversation with this young man.
We soon started calling each other regularly. We also started seeing each other. He told me he was one of a twin (identical) and that his brother lived in one parish while he resided in another.
Christine, one day he called to say he was coming to see me and I told him it was okay. This was not unusual even though I knew we had decided to see each other a day later.
He came by and we ended up being intimate, though not sexually. The night went okay but somehow I recognized that he was acting strange.
For instance, he was not aware of where I kept my medication and when he asked to use the bathroom, he seemed unsure of where it was.
I dismissed his uncertainties as mere jokes he was playing with me.
Christine, that was until my girlfriend called two days later to tell me that she had seen “my friend” in Speightstown with a girl the same day he was supposed to be with me. I asked her how she knew it was him and she described the same outfit he wore when a group of four of us went out together.
Christine, I almost lost my balance.
To cut a long story short, this man and his brother played me for a fool. Of course, I broke up with him but I feel compelled to warn young women out there about these brothers.
It is hard to distinguish one from the other and they tend to dress alike. Ladies, beware!
– W. P.

Dear W. P.,
I am sure those brothers know they should not continue to play this dangerous game.
Thankfully, your friend was on hand to see the real McCoy and help you discover this deceitfulness.
– CHRISTINE
