Shivnarine Chanderpaul joined elite company yesterday.
The durable left-hander became the second West Indian and tenth player overall to complete 10 000 runs in Test cricket.
Chanderpaul achieved the milestone on the fourth day of the third and final Digicel Test against Australia at Windsor Park in Dominica when he reached 14.
He follows the legendary Brian Lara as the second West Indian to reach the landmark.
Chanderpaul eventually fell for 69 in the final over of the day, leaving West Indies with only a slim chance of achieving a target of 370 to pull off a series levelling victory.
Here, Chanderpaul celebrating after reaching the treasured milestone.
