Lawyers for embattled dancehall entertainer Vbyz Kartel could today make a bail application in relation to the Clive Williams murder case. Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer is to reappear in the Home Circuit Court today. Earlier this week, the police handed over copies of the audio and video recordings against the dancehall artiste as well as other forensic material. Kartel’s lawyers had complained that the delay in getting the documents had prevented the defence from making an application for bail. Kartel has been in custody since September last year. He is accused of the murder of Clive Williams, who was reportedly beaten and stabbed in Havendale, St. Andrew, on August 16 last year, allegedly in relation to a lost firearm. The entertainer is jointly charged with Nigel Thompson and Lenburgh McDonald.
