Fisherman rescued

The Coast Guard wing of the Barbados Defence Force answered the distress call of Lionel “Rugged” Clarke and rescued the ailing Bayfield, St Philip fisherman, who was more than 100 miles off Barbados on Thursday.
Coast Guard personnel found the vessel during the afternoon and brought home the 54-year-old Clarke on Thursday night.
Clarke was iin discomfort, complaining of chest pains and reportedly radioed Barbados for help. (MK)
