Crop Over gets a new app

BLACKBERRY USERS can now have the latest information on Crop Over at their fingertips, through the launch of a Crop Over 2012 mobile application (app).
Not only does the app allow users to see all the coming events of the National Cultural Foundation (NCF), such as the Cavalcades, the Junior Monarch Competition, the Pic-O-De-Crop Finals and more, it also gives users the opportunity to plan their party schedule.
According to Jamal Holder and Graeme Downes who developed the app, it allows users to have “extensive coverage for Crop Over while also providing them with weather updates, a live Twitter feed, a link to Facebook and the latest music for Crop Over.
“For example, if you want to know when the second Cavalcade is and where, if you want to know if the rain will fall . . . there is a weather module and you can log on and check.
