YESTERDAY WAS MOTHER’S DAY and thousands of mothers were treated like royalty by their offspring and/or spouses.
In keeping with the island’s tradition and celebrations of this special day, there were lots of activities in honour of mothers.
Hundreds of mothers and their escorts flocked to restaurants and hotels for breakfast, lunch or dinner, while many mums dressed in their best attended services and luncheons organized by their churches.
