Scores flock to Central Bank health fair

THE CENTRAL BANK OF BARBADOS  staged a well attended health fair at Cathedral Plaza yesterday.
With booths set up  by several health entities, Barbadians from all walks of life, and Central Bank members of staff, availed themselves  of the information provided.  
The Royal Barbados Police Force Band provided beautiful strains of music  for the occasion  while healthy delicacies from food guru  Marion Hart tempted the nose and satiated the palates.
The Royal Barbados Police Force provided information on  illegal drugs and  the paraphernalia  used, while personnel from the Psychiatric Hospital discussed  the effects of stress  on the human body.
Cancer Support Services and the  Hope Foundation provided data  on various types  of cancer and on lupus, while the Insurance Corporation of  Barbados provided information  on its products. (KB)
