Top officials quit cycling

SO MUCH for getting cycling  on track. Seems the general body isn’t the only one questioning the governance of the Barbados Cycling Union (BCU) following recent resignations of at least three senior officials stemming from apparent differences with  long-standing president  Keith Yearwood.
News of the resignations broke yesterday after a source close to the BCU revealed that there has been some contention over Yearwood’s approach to certain issues.
“Let’s just say there seems to be a concern over the management style of the president,” said the source, in a telephone interview.
“There are also some challenges raised about the constitution and some selection processes and there are also some other differences  as well.”
