A morning accident between a Transport Board bus and a bicyclist left the man nursing injuries to the right hand, hip and leg.
Mark Isherwood, 58, of Rockley New Road, Christ Church, was travelling along Welches Road, St Thomas, when the accident occurred about 9:15 a.m.
The bus was driven by Philip Holder, 40, of 19D Haynesville, St James. It was carrying students from the Coleridge and Parry and St Lucy Secondary schools, who were transferred to another bus.
Ambulance personnel treated Isherwood before taking him to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
