THERE WERE TEARS OF JOY, sighs of relief and shouts and screams of excitement at the St Paul’s Primary School yesterday when the results of the Common Entrance Examination were announced to students.
But none of those tears, sighs, shouts or screams could compare with those of Matthew Weatherhead who placed ninth overall in the island and will be heading to Harrison College in September.
A NATION team was on hand when Matthew received his results, and it was clear that he was pleased when tears filled his eyes and he put his head in his hand, followed by deafening screams of “Yes! Yes! I did it.”
Matthew admitted that he was extremely excited his dreams had come true.
