With the theme For Sacrifice And For Service, the Eastern Caribbean Conference of Seventh-Day Adventist Churches held an ordination service Saturday afternoon at the Mile-and-a-Quarter Seventh-Day Adventist Church in St Peter.
In the packed church, Pastors Jason Peters and De Vere Lindo were ordained.
President of the Seventh-Day Adventist’s Caribbean Union Conference, Dr Kern Tobias, delivered the sermon. He told the gathering that the call to the gospel ministry of Jesus was a serious one and those answering it were expected to make some sacrifices.
