COMPANIES within the PRECONCO Limited group (PcL) are holding their own despite a “soft” market, says managing director of three of the companies, Stuart Maloney.
Speaking to BARBADOS BUSINESS AUTHORITY prior to the launch of three new products at Lears Quarry, St Michael last Wednesday, Maloney said they were focused on retaining staff and coming up innovative products to maintain their place in the market.
Maloney manages Creative Paving Solutions Inc., CemTile and Duratile Inc. The group of companies manufactures several paving, roofing and flooring products.
“We have a good market share at present,” he said. “We are the leaders in the paving market right now. It is the most innovative product we have right now.”
