NEWLY ELECTED Barbados Association Of Professional Engineers (BAPE) president Greg Parris is about to tackle issues relating to the profession head-on.
High on the agenda is educating the public on the various aspects of the engineering profession and “engineering matters”, a mentorship programme for engineering graduates and students, and increased involvement of all engineering disciplines on issues of national and “major” importance.
Furthermore, the 34-year-old, who is also an associate at Consulting Engineers Partnership Limited, told BARBADOS BUSINESS AUTHORITY that the profession was a very important one in the development of the country and they would be ensuring that this was realised over the coming months.
