There is still no word on the outcome of talks between CARICOM leaders as they continued meeting behind closed doors for a second day, delaying the final wrap-up session of the 33rd Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government in St Lucia.
Th leaders were scheduled to meet since this morning in a final plenary session at the Sandals Grande Hotel to discuss matters requested by Haiti, including the linguistic barrier and the French island’s hosting of CARIFESTA XII in 2015.
However, they have gathered again at The Landings resort a stone’s throw away to conclude deliberations that began yesterday.
Indications are that the plenary will begin later in the afternoon before a final press conference.
