THERE WAS NO STOPPING THE FUN AND PARTYING when hundreds gathered at Ilaro Court for the First Citizens Pan Fusion last Thursday night.
Under the stars in a relaxing atmosphere, VIPs mingled with those seated on their blankets and folding chairs, as locals and visitors alike soaked up the mixture of jazz, spouge and calypso tunes emanating from the stage.
Patrons were feted by the 1688 Nonette, The Golden Apple Project, and Terry “Mexican” Arthur And Friends, before the night culminated with a performance from veteran steel pannist Ken “Professor” Philmore.
Prime Minister Freundel Stuart was among those enjoying the entertainment.
As if the sweet music was too much to take sitting down, he got to his feet and partied for a while as Arthur And Friends created a festive mood. (CT)
