SOCIAL SCENE: Diplomatic licence to party

Members of the diplomatic corps have been busy on the social circuit over the past weeks with Canada, the United States and Venezuela celebrating independence anniversaries Canadian Ambassador Ruth Archibald hosted her party at the official residence on Pine Hill while the Americans created a party setting amidst the tight security of the embassy’s headquarters at Wildey.
The Venezuelans did things a little differently, bringing the folk group Trapiche Ensamble  to Barbados to perform to a packed Frank Collymore Hall, and entertaining all the guests at a reception afterwards.
