Road fatality in St Philip

 A road fatality in Mangrove, St Philip claimed the life of one person and left four others injured Saturday afternoon.
According to Police Inspector David Welch, Elma Moore, 65 years of Fustic Drive, Ruby Park, St. Philip, who was the driver of one of the cars involved, died as a result of the accident.  She was extricated from the vehicle by members of the Barbados Fire Service.  Moore was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. 
Janae Lowe, 38 years of Kirtons #2, St Philip a passenger in the vehicle driven by Moore complained of head and back injuries and was also transported to the QEH by ambulance.  She is reported to be in a serious but stable condition.
Damian Bradshaw, 28 years of Parish Land, Christ Church, was the driver of a motor van involved.  He complained of pains to his lower back.
Michael Fields, 58 years of Mangrove, St. Philip drove a motor car involved.   His passengers Sandra and Crystal Fields, both of Spring Farm near Mangrove, St. Philip complained of muscle stiffness and pains to left leg respectively.  They sought private medical attention.
