Hospitality is their business and glitz and glamour are part of their trade. So when hoteliers turned the spotlight on themselves for a gala Hilton affair recently, grandeur and finery characterized the evening.
It was the Barbados Hotel & Tourism Association’s annual President’s Awards gala and there was a big turnout, with both men and women dressed up the nines. The Hilton’s ballroom was fittingly decorated with tablescapes that echoed the gala nature of the event.
Seventeen people and companies were awarded, among them Senator Professor Henry Fraser and Dr Kerry Hall of the Barbados Tourism Authority, both recipients of the 60th Anniversary Award Of Special Recognition.
