Barbadian superstar Rihanna this past week kicked off her massive advertising campaign to be the Face Of Barbados with photo shoots at a number of scenic locations across the island.
The campaign, part of a three-year arrangement with the Barbados Tourism Authority, saw the singer visiting Crane Beach in St Philip, Six Men’s in St Peter, and St Lucy’s Animal Flower Cave.
The promotion is set to be launched next month in time for the winter tourism season.
Rihanna recently completed filming an interview here in Barbados with legendary talk show host Oprah Winfrey, which is to be aired on Oprah’s OWN network on August 19.
According to a report in London’s Daily Mail, while the 24-year-old usually loves any excuse to slip into a bikini, she opted for a more demure look for the campaign and frolicked in the surf fully dressed in a white frock. She also wore a billowing yellow gown as she struck a sultry pose for the camera.
