The cricketers at Combermere are getting ready to add another piece to silverware to their already large collection.
For the second successive day, Nicholls Baking Combermere took a huge slice out of Easy Bake St Leonard’s in the LIME Under-15 Final.
After developing a first innings lead of 85 on the first day, Combermere restricted their opponents to 133 in their second innings, leaving themselves a modest victory target of 49 today at the LIME Sports Club, Wildey.
All-rounder Shamar Springer, who top-scored with 69 for Combermere on the first day, returned yesterday to make a telling impact with the ball by grabbing four wickets. (HG)
