AN ELDERLY ST GEORGE MAN was found dead in his son’s home around eight o’clock yesterday morning, and police suspect foul play.
Police are investigating what a senior officer termed the unnatural death of 81-year-old Winston Waterman, of Manning Village.
Waterman, a former truck driver with the Ministry of Transport and Works, had multiple stab wounds to the body. He was discovered in the Uplands Lane, Ellerton Housing Development, St George home of his son Wendell Lewis – who had travelled overseas – by another son, Wilson Lewis.
“I had arranged to meet him this morning to take him home but when I shouted for him, I didn’t hear him,” said Wilson.
