St George youths charged

Five young men from St George have been arrested and charged for robbery. They are Akeem Fernando Wickham 22 years of Flat Rock, St. George; Ricardo Donovan Callender, 17 years of Newbury, St. George;  Rico Orlando Small, 17 years of Flat Rock, St. George; Simon Thio Blades, 17 years of Newbury, St. George; and a 15 year old male of Newbury, St. George.
All the above mentioned persons have been jointly charged for the offence of robbery; while Wickham and Blades have each been charged for the offence of rape.
On Monday 10 September, 2012, around 10 p.m, a 16-year-old male and his 15-year-old female companion were parked at a place called Mayfield, St. George, when they were attacked.
During the investigation, police recovered 2 cellphones and a laptop that were stolen from the victims.
The five accused are expected to appear at the District A Magistrate Court today Saturday 15 September, 2012.
