Pine overpass going up

Concrete pillars mere yards from the Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation’s Pine, St Michael complex represent the start of an overpass being built by Government.
The overpass is seen as the answer to the problem residents of the area and  especially schoolchildren face in crossing the busy section of the ABC Highway.
It has been praised by residents, as well as Member of Parliament Hamilton Lashley and principal of the Parkinson Memorial Secondary School, Orson Alleyne.
When a MIDWEEK NATION team visited the area yesterday, a C.O. Williams Construction Limited employee said the work crew were preparing the area for a crane to come today and place beams across the pillars. (CA)
