Barbadians were yesterday urged to plant trees and recognize their importance to people.
It happened as the National Conservation Commission hosted the Environmental/Arbor Day Expo at its Codrington House grounds.
A variety of plants went on sale or grant to the public, with many people taking up the offer.
This is the 15th year that Arbor Day has been recognized in Barbados.
Here, patrons making a selection from the variety of fruit trees given to the public free of cost. (LK)
