The political pendulum has swung again.
This time in favour of the Opposition Barbados Labour Party (BLP), which according to the results of the latest CADRES survey, now commands over 50 per cent national support and stands a better chance of winning the next general election due by April.
The survey, commissioned by THE NATION, was conducted over the last week and a half among 1 080 respondents in all 30 constituencies.
It has revealed a near six per cent swing against the ruling Democratic Labour Party (DLP) administration, which has dropped to almost the identical level of national support that the BLP had in 2008 when it lost the Government.
The majority of people polled were of the view that the country is on the wrong track (44.2 per cent) and that the time is ripe for a change of Government (43.6 per cent).
