But finally Fidel Edwards knows what it feels like to win a championship while wearing the maroon cap.
As part of the victorious West Indies team which defeated Sri Lanka by 36 runs to capture the coveted ICC Twenty20 World Cup on Sunday, Edwards is still revelling in the regional side’s achievement.
Speaking to SATURDAYSPORT in a telephone interview yesterday, the diminutive fast bowler said that despite not playing as big a role as he would have liked, winning the competition was always first and foremost on his mind.
