Man injured during gas station incident

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the wounding of a service station attendant on Sunday.
At around 7:20 p.m Osbert Rock, 64, was at the Esso Tweedside Road, St Michael station, when a masked man armed with a gun came onto compound and struck him in the head with it.
The impact caused the firearm to go off which caused damage to the roof of the forecourt structure. The man reportedly fled and the victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance. (CA)
