The red carpet sizzled with style at the premiere of Chrissy the movie on bullying which hardly left a dry eye in the house when it opened at the Olympus Theatres last week.
Many young fashion-conscious patrons were seen walking the carpet.
Inside they joined Minister of Education Ronald Jones, Attorney General Adriel Brathwaite and other invited guests like Barbadian Hollywood-based make-up artist Marietta Carter-Narcisse and members of the cast for the screening of the film written and produced by Marcia Weekes .
Chrissy is the story of an underprivileged little girl who befriends a white student who is the victim of bullying in their school. Mac Fingall plays the principal of the school while children from Praise Academy, friends, family and some members of the Mustard Seed Production Company make up the cast.
The premiere was a fund-raiser for Variety The Children’s Charity.
