THE?Goddard Enterprises Group Limited has again pledged its support to help local volleyball regain its regional supremacy.
Word of this came from group human resources manager Jennifer Bradshaw-Wood last Thursday as she handed over the sponsorship cheque for the 2012 season to long-serving Barbados Volleyball Association president John Griffith.
“The Goddard Group has witnessed tremendous improvement in the teams over the year of our association with volleyball and now we want to help Barbados’ volleyball to regain its regional glory through our continued support at the domestic level,” said Bradshaw-Wood.
Griffith said that Goddard Enterprises’ support of Barbados’ volleyball over the last ten years had helped with the development of the junior programmes as well as the improvement of coaching and the overall playing standard.
“This year was one of the most exciting league seasons with the last three games proving to be deciders for the men’s and women’s Division 1 titles,” he said. (KB)
