A former president of the Barbados Football Association (BFA) believes that Randy Harris has only one legitimate option – give up the LIME Pelican Football Challenge.
Having spent more than three decades as a football administrator, Lisle Austin cannot see how Harris can continue to operate as organizer of the lucrative football tournament while simultaneously heading the BFA.
In an exclusive interview with WEEKENDSPORT yesterday, Austin who was president of the BFA while Harris was general secretary in the 1980s, said the newly elected president had taken on a huge responsibility in heading the body.
“The position of president of the BFA is a very honourable one, and expectations are high on anyone who accepts that responsibility,” he said.
