Fed up?with the continued promises from Government, Al Barrack is going back to court to organize the sale of the Warrens Office Complex to recover some of the $72 million he is owed.
The contractor and his attorney Douglas Trotman yesterday told the SUNDAY?SUN at Barrack’s Redman’s Village, St Thomas home, that they were going to court this week because they had received no firm statement from Government about the promised $60 million expected from the sale of the complex.
Minister of Housing Michael Lashley on Thursday announced that the payment was being worked on, and two weeks ago Prime Minister Freundel Stuart also gave the assurance Barrack would get his money.
It is understood Government has secured a buyer for the complex who would then lease the building to Government.
