AFTER HOURS – Of prized art and art lovers

THE?BRIDGETOWN GALLERY at Sheraton Mall was the meeting place recently for artists and art lovers. The visitors used the opportunity to vote for the piece they considered the Public’s Favourite Painting as artists wondered who would be awarded this year’s Carmichael Prize.
Artists mixed and mingled with each other and members of the public, taking time to discuss the many paintings on display. Among those present was Dr Trevor Carmichael, after whom the top  award was named. (CH)
