THE MOTHER of Barbadian Antonio Ricardo Vaughan, who was found dead in Jamaica in October, is upset at finding out about her son’s death via the local media.
She feels the local police should have informed her.
Stating that local police had never been in contact with her since her son fled to Jamaica in April 2008, Moreen Vaughan said yesterday she was hurt at not being properly notified by the police about his activities or his death.
“I am real angry and I feel like going to a lawyer or something. I never even knew the police here were looking for him. Nobody ever told me,” said Vaughan from her Husbands, St James home yesterday evening after seeing a report about 30-year-old Antonio’s death in yesterday’s SUNDAY SUN.
