The Ryan Brathwaite Track seems ready to go.
After weeks of toil, the track at the spanking new facility in Lazaretto, Black Rock, has finally been laid and looks set for use ahead of next month’s start of the schools’ athletics term.
It could be pressed into major action from as early as February or March, as Minister of Sports Stephen Lashley revealed the track could be used for Inter-School Sports if work at the National Stadium isn’t completed. (JM)
