RYAN BRATHWAITE has made his name clearing hurdles.
Now he’s hoping to help some of his fellow athletes do the same.
Brathwaite, the National Sports Council’s Sports Personality of the Year, believes that more needs to be done to help up-and-coming athletes.
Speaking to MIDWEEKSPORT in a telephone interview from Florida last weekend, Brathwaite conceded that better preparation and more sponsorship was vital if our athletes are to compete on the world stage.
“There is a definite need for more help and more sponsorship for athletes in Barbados,” he pointed out.
