Two-time Grammy award-winning rhythm and blues recording artist Melanie Fiona arrived in Barbados yesterday and is ready to perform at the Naniki Caribbean Jazz Safari Sunshine For The Stars show at Ilaro Court this afternoon.
Shortly after arriving with her tour manager at the Grantley Adams International Airport, the Canadian-born entertainer told the SUNDAY SUN that she was excited to be in Barbados.
“I just came from the Sundance Film Festival in Utah, where it was all cold and snowing and so to come off the plane and feel this beautiful island breeze and beautiful sunshine is exactly what I needed,” she said.
