The women?of the Democratic Labour Party (DLP) were armed with “Errol Barrow notes” when they turned up to make their deposits at the Treasury yesterday.
The five arrived after their male counterparts to hand in their cash – all $50 notes bearing the face of the late Errol Barrow, founder of the party and former Prime Minister.
The candidates were in an upbeat mood, confident of their chances – and their party’s – in the general election set for February 21.
Here, (from left) Mara Thompson, Patricia Inniss, Irene Sandiford-Garner, Dr Esther Byer-Suckoo and Verla DePeiza posing with their deposits.
