Glory for Green House

GREEN?HOUSE?reigned supreme at the recent Luther Thorne Memorial Primary School sports at LIME Sports Complex, Wildey, St Michael.
The defending champions amassed 675 points to finish ahead of Blue, who tallied 643. Yellow (574) and Red (475) came third and fourth, respectively.
Victor ludorum Shem Williams of Blue House showed that he was indeed the king of the track in the Under-13 Boys’ division. He won the 100, 200 and 400 metres along with the long jump which gave him 36 points.
The victrix ludorum and queen of the track was also from the Under-13 division. Lekeisha Reid of Yellow House won the long jump, placed second in the 200 and 400 metres and third in the 600 metres to earn a maximum 23 points.
Seth Weekes of Red won the Under-9 Boys’ division while Ariya Nicholls of Blue won the Under-9 Girls’ division.
Among the Under-11 boys, Christopher Yearwood of Green came out on top while Tiara Edwards of Blue walked away with the Under-11 Girls’ division title. (ML)
