The City of Bridgetown Credit Union and RBC Royal Bank on Lower Broad Street are closed for business today.
Reports indicate that a scent from routine daily testing of a vent at COB affected staff at both establishments.
Seven people were treated on the scene by ambulance personnel, and four were transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
Two fire tenders, eight officers and one ambulance from the QEH responded to the call around 7:40 a.m. (YB)
