Today, crews from the Barbados Water Authority were busy carrying out repairs to bursts on mains in a number of St George districts.
As a result of the bursts, many residents in these areas experienced water shortages.
The areas included Newmarket, Bulkeley, Frere Pilgrim, Ellerton, Edey Village, Boarded Hall and the immediate surrounding areas.
The crews were also in Sandy Hill, St Philip which caused low pressure and some outages for residents in the district.
Water tankers were despatched to assist residents  in all affected areas. (CM/PR)
