Four months after West Indies’ male cricketers made the region proud, the Caribbean women have a chance to do so today.
They face Australia in the final of the ICC Women’s World Cup at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai, India.
The Caribbean girls, who will be appearing in their first final, rebounded from winning just one match in the opening group stage to win all three of their Super Six matches.
The final, beginning at 5 a.m. Barbados time, will be televised on ESPN Caribbean.
