No water since Thursday

Residents in several St George and Christ Church communities who have been without water since Thursday cried out for answers yesterday on when service will be restored.  
But in a release last night, the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) said it was hoping householders would have running taps by this morning as crews were working throughout the night to fix the problem.
Marina Johnson sat outside her Watts Village, St George home in the afternoon with an assortment of bottles, buckets and basins waiting for the water tanker. She told the SUNDAY?SUN that when she arrived home from work shortly after 11 a.m., she saw a tanker which was going to refill and return.  
Johnson said five children and three other adults also lived at the house and so they needed water – and quickly. She said she was thankful that her boss had brought her some but added she would be forced to make the trek to a standpipe in South District if the tanker did not return.
