?The Barbados Policyholders and Investors Alliance (BIPA) is meeting this week as it continues a campaign to recover the money Barbadians put into collapsed insurance companies CLICO and BAICO.
Chairman of BIPA June Fowler told the SUNDAY SUN yesterday that the meeting would discuss what the next move should be.
“As you know, our members have already made a claim through the law courts of Barbados, but we will be holding an important meeting shortly,” she said.
“We realize the Government has been retained and that is sure to come up when our leadership meets,” Fowler added. “Once that meeting is held we will have a better idea about what our next move will be.” (BA)
