The evening gloom was pierced by the despairing wails of a sister crying out for her deceased brother.
This was the scene along Orange Hill, St James, yesterday after the family of Dario Linton, 23, of Sion Hill, in the same parish, arrived to view his body. He originally came from Park Road, St James.
Supported by other family members, including her mother and aunt, the inconsolable young woman repeatedly cried, “No, no, not my brother!” as curious onlookers silently watched the heartbreaking scene.
The accident scene itself was a grim one, with Linton’s body slumped over the bonnet of a sport utility vehicle driven by Sylvan Greenidge. Linton was riding a motorcycle. (CA)
