Truck wrecks verandah

A C.O.Williams Construction Co. truck overturned and destroyed the verandah of Etpheline Nurse after it was involved in an accident with three other vehicles along Mapp Hill Main Road, St Michael, yesterday Nurse was able to get out of the verandah in time to escape serious injury.
The truck was driven by Whitfield Bolden.
The drivers involved were not seriously hurt, but Ivan Burke complained of slight injuries to his right hand and debris in an eye.
Residents complained that the road was too narrow and posed a risk for pedestrians and motorists. (LK)
