Having experienced an improved performance in sales locally, ice cream manufacturer BICO Limited awarded its 46 employees last Thursday.
Executive chairman Edwin Thirlwell attributed the company’s steady sales, following the fire in 2009, to an uptake in the novelty products and moving the manufacturing from Canada to Trinidad, where shipping costs are lower.
